Back in August I did something I thought I'd never do. I lay in a bath FULL of ice for 2 minutes!
Having always had a dislike for the cold, it was only after I'd read about the benefits of cold water therapy, particularly for women going through menopause, that I thought I'd see what it's all about so when I saw that there was a Wim Hof workshop happening locally, I signed up.
The workshop was run by the brilliant Heather Ashely who led us through some breath work, movement and to finish with, an ice bath!
I found the experience truly transformational and the best bit was the five day natural high the following week!
I'm now a cold water convert and am so delighted that I got to chat to Heather on the podcast.
As well as being a Wim Hof Method instructor, Heather is also a Health coach, nutritional therapist, PT and last but not least, a healthy habit creator.
