#33 From Tsunami survivor to a life of freedom, joy and purpose with Ani Naqvi
Ani Naqvi is a former BBC journalist and now transformational life coach who, whilst on holiday with a friend in Sri Lanka, was almost drowned in the 2004 Indian Ocean Boxing Day Tsunami that killed almost 228,000 people across 15 countries.
Shortly after the tsumani, Ani appeared on Oprah questioning why she survived when so many people died.
Now in memory of the lives lost during the tsunami, she is on a mission to work with 250,000 people to encourage them to live their passions and focus on what they really want.
To say Ani is a survivor is a massive understatement as not only did she survive the 2004 tsunami, but she has also overcome PTSD, depression, stage 4 breast cancer and 4 other brushes with death.
Ani is truly inspiring and I’m so grateful that she shared her story with me.
