#94 Ignite Your Passions and Make a Difference, No Matter Your Age with Kali Hamerton-Stove

Polly Warren

“Our ultimate sense of well-being is often found at the place where fulfilment and contribution meet.”

This Quote is take from Rachel Lankester’s book ‘Magnificent Midlife’ and sums up brilliantly the story of this week’s podcast guest Kali Hamerton-Stove.

In her late forties, Kali and her friend Melissa Murdoch founded the inspiring social enterprise, The Glasshouse, which offers second chances through horticultural training to women based in UK prisons.

Through growing and nurturing houseplants, which are then sold, the project helps and supports women in the months before and after release.

🌱As well as the practical horticulture skills, hanging out with plants has some amazing benefits for people involved in the project - as it can for everyone!

This episode is a story about finding a passion in midlife, believing in yourself and realising that you’re never too old to try new things and make a positive difference.
